What motor do I have

Default What motor do I have

I'v got a motor for Honda but not sure what Honda it has fuel injector's in the air breather cover they told me it was for a f4i can anyone help me

Compare it to whats on ebay. If you think it F4i, look at F4i engines on ebay, if you think it 600rr, then ................... Dont forget some motors might be a little different from year to year.

does it have a VIN stamp on it? If so you can do a little bit of online research and find out pretty much all you need to know.

If it has injectors on top of the airbox, you're probably looking at a 600rr....

...or you got lucky and received a 1000rr.



Then again, your air box doesn't confirm what engine you have...

Where will the vin number be I can't find one

I don't think you will find a VIN on the motor, but you should see a motor number (that gets linked to a VIN.) Look on the case above where the clutch is. That number will tell you everything you want to know.

Demon is correct, it is not a VIN. It is the engine number. My apologies. I replied super early this morning and my brain wasn't as engaged as my fingers when I replied.
Didn't mean to give you bad info.
