Hey guys i just bought a 2002 f4i and notice the coolant was alittle low and the oil was really low. I found some oil at advanced auto the meets the specs. And i saw some prestone coolant that seems like it meets specs but im not sure. I was wondering if the prestone 50/50 mix stuff is ok or should i use something else.

 

That stuff is fine. I used the regular prestone coolant when I flushed my stuff out last week. 50/50 means you don't have to mix any water in with it.

 

yea i dont need any yet, but its kind of low, so i just need to get "Prestone 50/50" coolant and i can just put it straight in?
i dont need to do anything else?

 

If you have the money I would reccomend Engine Ice. The stuff works great but runs about $20 bucks for a halfgallon jug.
