I have a 2004 CBR600 F4i, and I have a front and rear fairing and from what I've seen from full fairing kits, is it is only 04-06. However, I have seen some side fairings listing as early as 2001 that will fit. Can other years fit for the side fairings?

Please someone correct me if I am mistaken, but I believe that the front fender and upper and side fairings will fit any 01-06 but that the full kits distinguish between 01-03 and 04-06 because of the tail section: 01-03 have split-seat tail bodywork and 04-06 have single-seat tail bodywork.

I think that there are also minor differences between the earlier and later upper fairing but that they both fit. I seem to remember reading somewhere that they originally have different part numbers but that the old part has been retired and the newer part replaces it.

Only difference between the 01-03 and the 04-06 is the rear cowl. The rest is interchangeable. So yes, you can use the sides from any F4i year.

Make sure your rear subframe is compatible with the tail cowl of your choosing... if you are also replacing the tail cowl..
