Washed it and started it for the first time in 3 months. It's sad the new WRX made me pretty much forget about the bike for awhile.

boom! post revival, i put some 20 watt 8 ohm radio shack resistors and some new, functional blinkers.
actually incredibly easy, twisting, solder, e-tape and done. radio shack should have them, just look in the top drawer that says 1 watt, they're in there.. maybe..

Gonna give her a good cleaning check the chain and oil, start looking for a new set of tires, and tear it down checking wires for the speed sensor hoping is just some corrosion

Default got it out to show off...maybe

There may be a weather window here on the Dry Side today (near Hood River) so I'm hoping to take her out for one final spin before she goes into the hay shed for winter. I recently swapped the engine/trans due to a skipping second gear. When I got that done, I painted it from full black-out....and now I have a bike that I don't have to approach with my eyes closed and try to ride around a 'missing' second gear.
I went from this

Flat black with some sloppy orange stripes and lots of plain zinc sheet metal screws holding the body work in place...to this...

A shiny metallic charcoal with a clear coat. I finally got the decals I ordered from Extreme Decals (Malta online company) sadly, just after I put put the bike together with the first coat of clear on, so I'll have to apply those next spring, I guess. Love having all the gears working perfectly! Next is some SS brake lines and some new fork internals and ...and ....

We seem to have about 45f at 7am this morning and partly cloudy...
