I actually just did a split seat conversion as you did, and im getting the same problem but I just overlooked it being I figured right off the bat it was the lights I installed. I got flush mounts in front and integrated in the back. So being there's less power being used, the extra power being seen on your gauges.

Pain in the *** to install? Did you even TRY? lol The relay is stuck on the middle of the headlight. You don't even have to take it off the bike. Remove old relay, plug in new one, use some tape to attach it and you're done.

haha no I haven't tried.. I just did the swap like 2 days ago. I thought for sure it was dead center of the headlights between the plastic and the lens. Just the thought of having to pull all the plastic off the front which probably needs the sides off too to get at.

Talking Signal indicator stays on...

I found the problem w my bike. It seems that during my oil change I stressed the aftermarket wires and broke a few strands in the process 2 strands to be exact. lol That should show you how sensitive the electronics are. i redressed the connection and life is good.

the indicator will stay on if you plugged if you are using three wires on the LEDs. If you are using LEDs then you must only use the normal power and ground. Cap off the constant power and simply tuck it away. The only draw back is that you will not have running turn signal lights, they will only come on when you signal.

Thanks Dude. Seems my last response was premature. Seems the problem returned, so i replaced the (aftermarket) bulb and voila the problem is gone.
