Default LED blinker problem

so I installed new led blinkers and when I go to turn the left blinker on it flashes extremely fast (bc it thinks the bulb is out) BUT! when I flick the right blinker on THEN flick the right blinker it works fine, I don't understand why it's doing this. I don't know if it's an easy fix or if I should just go buy a resistor... let me know, thanks!

If you replace your stock flasher with something like the one below they will all flash at the normal rate. I have one of these on my bike, which has regular bulbs in the front and LEDs in the rear.

yes.. changing the flasher relay is much easier than the resister install..
