If you want 1/6th tube, go to a yamaha dealer and order part number 2C0-26240-00-00 and as previously mentioned, it comes with a grip.

Hey thanks for clarifyin my post up there i guess i really do have the 1/5th . however if you look on the package the year includes 2006 r6. My 1/5th turn feels great and does not require me to reposition my grip whatsoever. it keeps me right in the powerband at all times and allows ZERO slack. I kinda fear what a 1/6th turn will feel like but ill probably get my hands on one one day. but either way you go a 1/5 or 1/6 will get you the desired result. i can pull hard from almost everygear and i find myself shifting less for power. Its my first how to guys, thanks for the comments!

Bringing this back up after trying for hours tonight.
I have the r6 sleeve and followed this walkthrough, but i cant get the cable long enough.
Tried to get some slack from the throttlebody, eventually ended up disconnecting it from the tb and got it on the sleeve. But there was my next problem, now i couldn't get the cable back on the tb anymore!!!
You guys have any more tips on how to fix this?
