I'm taking out a small loan to get my bike in about 3 months. However, I dont know if I should go with a CBR600F3 for around $3000 or go to the newer F4i at around $3700-4000. What are the main differences in the bikes? This will be my first sport bike, (right now I have an '86 Honda Shadow 700) If I can go with the cheaper bike and still have good performance I will go with that, but are were there any major performance upgrades? --sorry if I seem clueless, but I figured I would ask someone more knowledgeable that myself.

 

$3K for an F3 is pretty high unless itsin mint condish andeven then I'd gladly pay a little more for an F4i. I've owned both and there is a big difference between them. Nothing wrong with the F3 but F4i has more power, newer styling, fuel injection,and wider wheels to run the newest sticky tires just to name a few things. Good luck!
