I'm looking through ebay trying to find an undertail for my '03 F4i and have a couple questions. First are there any undertails on ebay that are well known to be crap and thus should be avoided? Seems like most people like the pimp_bikes and hotbodies undertails. What is the preferred material ABS or fiberglass and why? I would think ABS, but is there some reason Fiberglass is better?

 

I dont have an undertail, but I would think ABS would be alot better...More forgiving and durable.

 

Hotbodies undertail for 01-03 has many complaints of the bulbs being very dim, which is obviously a bad thing.

 

Stear clear of the hotbodies undertail with the LED's although hotbodies makes anice undertail just being the shell then you use your own factory tailight or get an integrated---i cannot stress enough to stay away from hotbodies with the LED's nothing but trouble.
