Undertail and grab bar questions.
Hey all, does anyone know where I can find an undertail with no turn signals or tail lights in it. I just bought an integrated tail light turn signal and was looking for a plain undertail. I don't really want to make one, but if it comes down to it I'll give it a shot. But I'd rather buy one.
Also, I've been looking for a grab bar for my F4 and I can't find one. Is there another name for them? Or am I just not looking in the right place? I found grab bars/luggage racks, but not just a grab bar. Also found ones for Busa's, but no F4's.
Thanks!

The grab bar came on F4s that were sold outside of the US and then when the banana seat made its triumphant return to the US in 2004 I believe.. the mount is there on a US F4, but the rear cowl is not cut out for it. I suppose you could cut it out, or simply get a rear plastic that uses the grab bar.. check ebay

for some reason.. slim pickins today... but there is one and seems to be in good shape.

Im almost positive.. are you in the US? If you are, you probably have HK fairings on the bike.. as most of those companies make the F4i rear nana seat plastics for the F4.. easier and cheaper..
You can see it on this F4i...

Compared to the F4 tail without it:

B/f I did the split-seat conversion, I made my own FE. I posted pics & instuctions on how to do it somewhere on this forum.
Not long after doing the conversion, I installed a CompetitionWerkes Fender Eliminator. This is just one of several FE options. Its stainless steel & excellent quality. Yeah, you pay a premium for it *but* it installs & fits like a quality product...no surprises or compromises. It comes (or at least it used to) w/ the stainless FE panels, all hardware, license plate bracket, & rear signal mounts.
Hopefully, others will post up their FE's so you can get a better idea of what you want.
