RE: undertail or fender eliminator?
I was looking at undertail kit the other day also, I was wondering if they make one that you can still take the back seat off with the undertail installed...since the factory fender has they key hole there, I didnt see anything on the undertail that would unlock the seat. Not trying to steal your thread here but wondered how you would be able to open it without running a wire under the seat to pull to release the latch.

Which undertail are you looking at? Most eliminators I've seen are much cheaper than the undertail.
I have a rumble undertail. It relocates the key lock to the underside just behind the license plate bracket so yes you can still remove the seat. I am sure the others such as hotbodies, etc do the same. Here is a pic:

RE: undertail or fender eliminator?
fender eliminators locate the key hole around the same place as the undertails. I would recommend getting the undertail since it looks a lot cleaner and custom. I used to have a fender eliminater but I am in the process of switching it out with a Targa undertail
