There's something about the undertail that looks clean. The pipe distance would still be similar to a highmount, so there's not much to be gained power wise. Putting on a GP exhaust would maybe yield more hp but it wouldn't look nearly as shweet.
I'v seen it done, you basicly need to replace the entire rear of the bike.
oh and the reason most people do it to a 1k instead of a 600 is that the 1k's hold their value far better..
