Default undertail exhaust

Say I get a RR swingarm and subframe mounted to my '03 could I mount under tail exhaust? Would there be any other modifications? I need a subframe (split seats aren't cheap) so why not go all out? I don't take long trips. What do you think?

i'm pretty sure you can do that and it will work, but i bet the pipe will be still routed around the swingarm..[:-]

You'd probably have to custom make part of the exhaust piping. Just a guess.

I have read the tutorials on how to mount thr rr swing arm going to the salvage yard to shop for parts tomorrow. I will try to take a lot of pictures. If I can get an F4i tail I will stick with it instead of an RR. I am switching swing arms though.

why spend it on a 600??? Why spend it on a 1k? To be different and rock something that no one else has. I don't know what the difference is besides size? I want to be different anyone can buy a 1k or 600. how about make something your own. I will still have a dented tank when I am done with this project but I would rather have something different than something in perfect condition.

That would be sweet if you can do it. I am guessing as said above that you would need to fab something from the headers to make it work. Let us know what you find out. I don't think anyone was ******* the 600 but just saying it's a lot to put into this type of bike. If it makes you happy, do it.
