Okay so here it goes. This is my first post. I'm the proud new owner of a 2003CBR 600F4i. I am also a new rider with little experience but that can be another post. My issue is with the undertail mod that was done to my bike. I personally don't like the look of the small round LEDs and find that they are probably very hard to see.... especially the turn signals which are half of the leds flashing amber. I guess I'm really just inquiring to find out more about my options before I just got buy/install something. Any ideas/mods that anyone knows of would be appreciated. I'm an electrical technician by trade so if you have an idea and a way to mount it i'm sure I can wire it up. Thanks

I think I have the hotbodies undertail from the pictures but not positive. Can post pics if this would be helpful.

I have the same undertail and i was thinking the same thing. I might crack open the cases and put in new brighter leds. It wouldnt be hard at all for electricians like us.

PS im an aircraft electrician.

 

F16 mech I found a website that was supposed to have these replacements that would like blind you but they were 180 dollars. Let me know if you find anything bright and how much it is.

 

www.superbrightled.com i was looking around there, i really think im going to have to make some full custom lights on the tail. I just want them to be SUPER bright. also i want to have them flash when i hit my breaks. im not sure what flasher unit i should use, anyone ever done that?
