truly disappointed in my cbr

I dunno - I stripped a screw hanging up a TV on the wall - got an extractor kit - broke that sucker off.
Finally I resorted to taking a grinder to the offending screw!
So I know how frustrating a botched screw can be but I wouldn't sell my bike over it! give it a day or two to calm down is all i'd say.

Have you ever heard of a heli-coil (not being sarcastic) there made for stripped holes, and I have had very good luck with them. I use them professionally at work fixing stripped out spark plug holes in aluminum. Just my 2 cents for what it's worth, but I would look into them before I bought a new bike personally.

yeah dont sell your bike if you dont have too. trust me. i had to sell my 900rr and i regret it. course it did have a cracked block a bad stator and needed 2 tires. plus i was almost a month behind on bills. in the end my credit was more important.. plus the guy i sold it to seems to be having a hard time selling it. guess i made a good decision but in your case. just helicoil it. im guessing its either 10mm or 8mm.
