Default Trouble with the FI light.

Can some one shed some light on this problem. Once or twice a week my bike starts to idle very low around 500 to 1k rpm, after riding for about 15-20 mins. It was doing that early this month, now it actually shuts off. the FI light comes on some of the time. I just dropped the front sprocket a tooth. But it was doing the idle thing b4 that.

had my light comeon during warm up, and once on a ride. During the ride my bike would sputter and backfire at high rpms. Not sure why it has ever came on, but it has always reset itself. Would like to know how to read the code though.

Count short blinks / long blinks and post. The diagnotic codes are in the manual. I may then tell you what fault is being reported.

Rajas,
First check your battery terminals to make sure they are well secured.
