My rear hugger

Default My rear hugger

Is off the bike and i like how it looks do i really need it? does a rear fender and chain guard do that much? reason for removing my bike bottoms out on it because i'm lowered 3 inches. I mite just cut that thing up to just have a chain gaurd. opinions?

The only rear purpose for the hugger is to keep some stuff flying off of your rear tire onto the underside of your bike. It does a decent job of that, but still alot of crud gets past it. The chain guard, however does a lot more. If you look on the bottom side of it, you'll see a lot of chain grease. Imagine that on your bike.

No, do not cut it up. I will gladly trade you my perfectly stock chain guard for your rear hugger! What color is it?
