Default tough luck.. tire blowout

So my tire got a nail in it today while I was riding.

Is there a place that can patch it? I don't have 150 for a new tire right now. I was wondering if they make a patch for bike tires. I just need something that will last until winter when I put it away.

It is usually not advisable but have put a plug in the hole before without any problems resulting. I would say plug at your own risk and any tire shop could patch the tire which is somewhat safer. I would still take it easy until you get a new tire.

Don't patch it unless to make it rideable so you can take it the tire shop. Patched tires are more prone to really blow while riding. Not worth the risk if you ask me.
