Default TOUCHY THROTTLE

I scanned the posts for this topic and could not find it--hope it's not a repost!

I have a '01 600F4I witha very touchy throttle. What I mean by this is the bike is relatively hard to keep at a constant speed with just light throttle input. Kinda feels like the throttle is either off or on... maybe like a touchy throttle position sensor??

Anyone ever experience this sort of thing??

My 05 F4 is the same way. Just took me a while to get used to. I always thought the sensitive throtle repsonce was because of the fuel injectoin.

it is the fuel injection because the throttle makes for more fuel to be injected. So the way i see it is the more throttle you give the more fuel gets put in. this is pretty much true for all vehicles, but with the fuel injection i believe it to be more precise, which would make you believe it has a touchy throttle.

Thanks for the input. It's nice to know it's a fairly normal situation. I guesss I'll just learn to be a bit smoother with the throttle.
