Why in gods name would you want a larger back tire?

It will give you absolutely no performance gain in straight line acceleration. It will hurt your cornering. It will add rotating mass to the bike which will slightly hurt your braking and acceleration.

Stick with the stock size. It's what the bike was designed for.

Seeing a sportbike with a massive back tire means it's either a show only bike or owned by a moron.

Putting a larger tire on the rear wheel, that isn't designed for it, will change the characteristics of the tire. You would think that putting a 190 on an F4i would increase surface contact, but since the F4i isn't designed for a 190, you have to squeeze a the wider tire on to a smaller rim than it was designed for. Doing this forces the tire to become more pyramidish shaped (or triangled shaped), hence reducing surface contact. This is in addition to negatively changing how the tire handles.

And I know this because.... I did it. I was checking out another bike with the same sized tire, and I noticed that even though we had the same sized tire, his was wider. The reason was his wheel was wider and properly designed for that size tire. I did some research into this and found out, I'm an idiot.

If for some reason you still want a wider tire, you need to change out your rear wheel also.

Yea, stick with the stock application for the tire size. Bigger isnt always better. In this case it is worse.

As for your question a 200 is the largest before you will hit your chain.
