ok i got a 98 f3 and its got the 120/60-17 front and 160/60-17 rear. But what is the largest size i can fit? for width and height? if i put on a 70 would it rub my fender?

A 70 upfront will work and no moving of the fender is required. You will love the new feel of it. As for the back you will get different response from folks on here. I have a 180/55 on mine and I love it. others will tell you not to go away from what Honda puton there. A 180 will fit with no mods to the hugger. with a little dremel work I am pretty sure you can get a 190 in there, but I dont think its a wise thing. Any other thoughts from others?

fitting n performing is two different worlds. But if your going for looks n bling wtf not. After all its you bike.

 

I completely agree with you Playfulgod. the two are certainly different. whatever look he isgoing for is what he willhave to decide and live with.

 

From wot I've read, Honda designed the rear to go up a size anyhow, as part of a race set up.

 

mine was bought with a 170 on it.

 

mine is a 170/60/17 fits perfectly
