It will suck. You will hate it. Don't waste your time or money. Stick with stock sizes or maybe 10 higher. Anything larger changes your handling considerably.

Thanks for all the info. The two shops Ive been to in town are not stocking 160's for some reason only 170's. The tech said it would be fine but thought I would ask some questions befor dumping $$$ into it and hating it. Ive read in some posts thats its important to have matching tires front and rear..... My front tire is like new but the rear is BALD. Is it matching brands or tred depth thats important? The front is a dunlop Sportmaster, Thats a spendy tire as far as Ive seen[:@]

From what I understand, it's best to stick witha matching set front/rear. Something to do with similar composition and handlingcharacteristics.
As for width... I bought my F2 with a 190 on the rear (I had no idea it was wrong). It rubbed slightly against the chain and swingarm,was very unstable through turns, and finally broke the chain. It was not a fun bike to ride until I got stock size tires. Now... [8D]
