Michellin 2CT's, dual compound tires. Harder rubber in the center for highway and normal riding, with softer rubber on the sides for excellent grip on the cornering. I ride only with Michellins now. This is my 3rd set of tires. I had Dunlops, then Michellin Pilot Powers and now the 2CT's.

www.yellowbook.com will help you find a shop to help you put them on. I got my tires online, and then took them to a shop in my town and had them mounted for like 30 bucks.

another dual compound to think of is pirelli diablo corsa IIIs, but i've heard they don't last quite as long

Yeah, +1 ~ the shop wanted $215 for a Dunlop Qualifier installed. Found one on e-Bay for $138 shipped plus $35 for the mount = saved a few bucks
