Default timing map custom? advice?

Anyone have one of these?

I pretty much just advanced my timing 3-4 degrees across the map. runs so much smoother and actually has a little more power... was just wondering if anyone had a custom map, or advice? Im also running 92 octane.

idle-3k- factory
3k-6k- +3degrees
6k-12.5k- +4degrees
12.5k-14.5k -+3 degrees

I know we redline at like 14.2 or something...

any advice? Thanks!

i would take it in for a custom dyno tune.
you need to know what your A/F is and adjust timing or fuel accordingly. otherwise you risk fubaring the engine.

timing maps flow you dont just add so much timing here and there, you follow basic rules when you're dynoing but you can't just classify those rpms you did and set those timing values. First off I would say +3 from from 3-6K would be a little too much especially on the high throttle side of the map. What does your air fuel look like? has your air fuel already been dyno tuned before?

Yeah I was just reading the ignition advancers you can buy advance your timing like 2/4/6 degrees. but thats all across the map. I havent been able to get on it yet.. it does run a lot smoother and has more power. I'll try to get it dyno tuned in a few weeks. rents this week...

I called the local honda dealer....about 10 minutes away..for my bike...

$50 to dyno
$100 to dyno tune fuel
$300 to dyno tune fuel/timing.

Thats pretty good prices isnt it??
