Time for a Master Cylinder Rebuild?

Edit: I understand that it is possible to bleed the master cylinder by using the method you describe, but that wouldn't be very effective as you are supposed to replace the crush washer everytime you loosen the banjo bolt. Not to mention it'd be almost impossible not to get air in the lines by doing it at the M/C
Not really, you don't have to replace the washers. I've found that if you bleed the MC first, and then the calipers, it cuts the whole process by half (the time that is) than if you were to bleed just at the calipers.
I did mine like this when I got the SS brake lines, and haven't had any problems with fluid leak at the washers (or anywhere else for that matter)
