Default throttlemeister

Does anyone have these? My friend put them on his R1 and I used them and they are a nice cruise control when riding the highways. What do you think of them?

Hmmm, cool idea. Anything that allows me to "relax" while im riding, I wouldnt feel comfortable with. I NEVER ride with music, radio, any distractions. Although a cool idea, I would never use it, not much highway riding either, all my commutes are backroad (by choice of course).

like timmy said, cool idea. it is tempting though because my right hand ALWAYS falls asleep when i ride and that would be nice, but then again i do like to have complete control over my throttle. i am so torn right now.

I've had'em on my bike for several years. Nothing bad to say about it though I'm not sure they should cost as much as they do. They don't make you relax any more than a throttle rocker or any other item meant to give your throttle wrist a bit of a break. You won't use them nearly as much as you think you would since it's not very useful unless on a long stretch of highway with little traffic but I have c.s. so I just use it for a few seconds of break on my wrists every once in a while and in that sense it's worth every penny imo. Its not meant for those who want to use it like a true cruise control (you still keep your hand on the grip and can easily still roll on and off the throttle when it's engaged) .. for its intended purpose it does its job.

I have a Throttlemeister on by 2006 F4i. I agree, I don't see why they cost so much, but it is a very well made part and the instructions are good.

If you ride a long distancesay a 600-mile dayit will provide you some relief to set the throttle and stretch and move around for 10 minutes. Helps a lot. Because the F4i throttle tension isn't high, I don't use a lot. But when you need it, you need it.

Worth it for the long distance rider.

Agree with the cost of it. Way too much. I also like to have full control over my throttle and when my hand does go numb, I just relax and stretch it out.

My buddy has one on hid ZX-6. I think they are a bit bulky but I envy his when we go on long trips when my wrist hurts and he is cruising with his throttle hand resting on his lap. I would have got one for my bike if they were available in chrome
