I recommend getting gel grips and some good padded gloves. It also could be the way you ride. I have ridden 300 miles in a day and didn't bother me. I ride with my right hand on the throttle, my left elbow on the tank and my left hand supporting my right hand. Seems to be easier to ride longer distances.
