Looking for a good lock to keep the throttle open while I'm riding. I can't find one anywhere. I own an 02 CBR F4i... HELP! Long trips are unbearable!
I've heard of the Throttlemiester and some NEP lock, but I can't find the NEP lock anywhere and if I do, if it fits my bike.

Already tried a throttle rocker before, and I'm not crazy about it at all, my hand still hurts from the harmonious vibration. Know how to kill the vibration? I get it typically after 5000 RPMs.

 

Never had that problem... I say you need to get better gloves.

 

I think I may have tightened the chain too much. What do u think of the Throttlemeister or NEP lock?

 

What chain do you think you tightened too much? the drive chain? you should be worried about a lot more than this vibration issue if that is the case, like a broken bike.

 

yeah, the drive chain. it's not really that big of a deal, just me being a pansay.

 

That wouldn't cause vibration unless it was really messing up your engine. Should be about 1 inch of slack up and down.

 

The vibration happens when I'm at or over 5000 RPMs, typically going highway speeds. When I cut the engine by holding the clutch, the vibration goes away, what u think?

 

i have the trottlemesiter on my f4i....lowers the vibes some.... and allows you to rest your throttle had on the long trips... no complaints here...
