Default Throttle cable issues

I've just fitted new aftermarket throttle cables to my 2002 f4i but the inner cable is very tight and I have no free play. The adjusters near the grip and near the throttle bodies are both all the way in but I still don't have any free play. My clip ons, grips and throttle tubes are all standard. Any idea what the problem might be. The original OEM cables were alittle better but still no free play.

Is it so short that its causing the engine to rev? Is it so short that its causing the engine to rev when turning the handle bars back and forth all the way each way?

Its so short that it won't fit in the clip on the engine side

Must be the wrong cable. Take it off and compare it to the one you took off. Get a used on from ebay.

The originals have the correct part number printed on them so I'm guessing it's correct

I solved the cable issue. I had to use my dremel and cut about 3 cm of outer cable away. How it works perfectly and I have enough free play
