Throttle adjustment

Smile Throttle adjustment

Ive got a little bit of play in my throttle, only slightly but enough for me not to like it.. Is it an easy job too adjust it? if so how do i do it please?

I also had some freeplay in my throttle so I did a forum search. It's really straightforward. I just did it and it took literally less than 5 minutes.

lukewilly,

Have you downloaded the online PDF version of the factory service manual? There are links to it here on the forum. The manual outlines how to make the adjustments.

cool thanks I've just got a new paddock stand so i have alot of work and updating to do to the bike :-)

just a quick one and didnt want to start a new thread. ive got my bike up on the paddock stand and the chain is tight but when its on the side stand the chain needs adjustment ?? so im at sort as what to do

Using the search box does wonders! Not only will you find great information, but learning through looking is very rewarding in itself.

i did get the service manual in the end, and already had it :-/ lol still cant find everything i need but i'll try that search box thing... lol
