If it happened to me, I'd post it under the For Sale / Motorcycle section with the title: "WARNING: This bike is stolen!!!", fill the ad with pics, last few of the VIN and offer a reward for info if you can afford it.
An 9 outta 10 people prefer a honest $500 compared to constant worry of getting busted

Other than what's already been said, I'm not sure what else to tell ya.
However, if you're watching CL in case your bike pops up... this site may help save you some time.

Hope you find your bike, bro.

If comprehensive insurance is affordable, get that instead of lojack.
The more you love your bike, the less you may want it if its recovered. Ask dohcdelsol about his F4i getting 'recovered'. I love Ororo but if she's stolen, just cut me a check so I can go bike shopping. I don't want to see her stripped, gutted or after someone tossed her in the back of a van for a 5 mile trip to a chop shop.

I agree with the above. When I got my dirtbike back I sold it. It just wasn't the same. And like they said. Post up in the motorcycles for sale section. It might scare them from trying to sell it on CL but you'd have to be dumb to try to sell a stolen bike online anyway. It's worth the risk to scare them and have all of those extra eyes and ears out there on your behalf. Thats my oppinion anyway. Good luck man
