Which one will last me longer? Which do you recommend? 525, 520, or should that not affect my decision? Or suggest a different set if you wouldn't buy either.

EDIT: Also, on ebay I found a stock set with 13k on them foir $45 shipped. I think they'd be pretty much worn out though, or am I wrong?

 

The EK MVXZ chains are VERY nice, imo. As with going 520 vs. 525, I'd go with 525 for longevity. The OEM sprockets that came off my bike with 14K miles on them still look really good with plenty of meat on 'em.
I'm keeping them for "just in case".
