Theres 3 cam chain tensoiner's. Just the rear one bad?

Theres 3 cam chain tensoiner's. Just the rear one bad?

Called about getting a new cam chain tensoiner at the dealer and they said theres 3 of them. Does just the rear one go bad or does all of them tend to go bad?

There are three components, tensioner (lifter) and the two chain guides ( front and back)..you need the (lifter) get a manual one for about $45

iv read that honda came out with an upgraded version of the tensioner. Does that one not work worth a crap either?

Well I just ordered a manual cam chain tensioner from APE. I thought I was going to get a a break on the price from a guy but he told me the best he could do was 65$ for a stock one.
