Default RE: Temp

+1 Sounds Normal to me - Mine does about the same - no matter the temp.

Went on a cold run a few nights ago (30's out) - Warms steadily to 176 or so and sticks if I'm moving (30-40)- A few slower stops (little air movement) and it's quick to warm into the 200-210 range. - On a warm day (65ish)of steady stop/go it easily starts getting to the point where the fan kicks on, but the fan seems to do a great job of regulating it and keeping it under 230. - Small all aluminum blocks I'm sure easily warm/cool with speed - so long as it isn't boiling over it is working as designed.

ORIGINAL: waterbrat

I live in Atlanta and it's about 30-40 degrees...I found my bike temp getting up to 225 degrees in traffic. I was wondering if it was normal...guess it is....

I plan to flush out the rad this weekend and replace it was "engine ice", hoping this will help...anyone tried this before?
Its normal .Riding mine everyday and anytime i sit longer than a few mins it creeps up there..
THe normal 50/50 mix is fine, unless you are the track.
