Default Temp

What temp should you be running during 50 degree weather? I was running 225 today.

In traffic thats perfectly normal, ive only had my bike 3 month but figured you have to start going around 25-35mph for the temp to even start dropping. Outside weather temp doesnt really matter, this was at 48degrees haha

I live in Atlanta and it's about 30-40 degrees...I found my bike temp getting up to 225 degrees in traffic. I was wondering if it was normal...guess it is....

I plan to flush out the rad this weekend and replace it was "engine ice", hoping this will help...anyone tried this before?

225's like the region where the fan kicks on... so if you're stop and go, at some point your coolant will heat up to 225 and then not go too much higher... if it's 30 out then it'll take longer than when it's 50, but eventually with no wind cooling the radiator the temp will go to 225 until the fan kicks on and cools it.
normal.
