Default Tail light/ turn signal issues

Hello all, I’m having an issue with my taillights and turn signals. Everything was working properly when I put it away for the winter, but now when I activate the signals nothing blinks on the cluster unless I grab either of the brakes. But it will only blink on the cluster, the front signals don’t blink, and both rear taillights blink. Before I got rewiring the tail tidy, does anyone have any direction on things I can look for?

Wiring got mixed up. Somehow you got brake-lights connected with winker wires. Probably some cross connect due to insufficient insulation.

Did you leave factory harness intact and get factory connectors and attach them to Tail Tidy so it's plug-n-play installation? Now would be good time to disconnect and re-connect factory lights for troubleshooting.

I did write-up here: https://cbrforum.com/forum/general-t...arness-163040/
You can follow similar technique and add factory connectors to brake/tail-light connectors to Tail Tidy and plug directly into factory harness.
No hacking up factory harness necessary and you can quickly unplug and re-connect factory lights for troubleshooting.

i had everything working correctly last season, unfortunately the harness is already jacked up. I took the turn signal switch apart and it looked like there was some corrosion in it, and I found the horn doesn’t work either.
is there a link to a diagram I can reference?

You can restore harness back to factory condition by installing factory female connectors. Best to restore harness back to 100% factory condition 1st before adding upgrades.

Trying to "forge ahead" and just force through by modifying harness more and more will just cause more and more problems.

Here's wiring diagram:
