Default suspension

When I brake hard I feel the back end sliding around. Which settings on my suspension should I adjust?

How are you braking? What speed? IF you are only using the rear brake, that is expected. the only time the rear will slide around with braking is by using too much engine braking or too much rear brake. I guess it could get a bit squirrly depending on the pavement quality.

I doubt it has much to do with the suspension (but then again, Im not a motorcycle suspension expert by any stretch of the imagination), it probably has more to do with a lighter a** end under braking and too much rear brake. Or if you're downshifting at mid/high rpm without blipping the throttle.

No rear brake at all. All front. I was prolly slowing from 60-70 (no idea really but I had some speed for sure) and setting up for a turn. I recently had made the front and rear stiffer (except the preload). I did not jam on the brakes but it reminded me of my impromptu endo so I backed off after i made the turn.

Squeeze the tank hard with your knees.

The rear coming up (loosing traction) is a result of too much rebound damping. Unless you're actually endoing, I'd adjust that. How much sag do you have in the rear? Is this happening all the time? Could be your rear tire locking for some strange reason.

Should I adjust front and rear rebound (to a softer setting) or just one of them. I didn't get the rear tire off the ground but I defiantly felt the rear end get light and start to kick out to the right. This was the first time I noticed it but on that same day I felt it do the same thing twice. I can't adjust rear sag (even with stock I should try at least right) and rear preload i cannot adjust since I do not have the tool.

I adjusted the rear rebound back to stock and it seems to have alleviated the problem.
