i ordered a new O2 last week, should be here soon. i'll report back my mileage too.

i used to consistently get 140-150 miles before reserve, but after using the O2 eliminator it dropped to a consistent 120 miles.

i'm going on a cross country trip this summer and 150 miles until reserve will definitely be better than 120.

Update for all you guys with stock O2 sensors:

I installed a new O2 sensor on my 2006 F4i and have gone through two tanks since then. My reserve kicked in at 145 miles and 147 miles, respectively. I'm now averaging 43.2 MPG instead of mid-30's using the O2 eliminator. My riding style hasn't changed, it's a steady mix of city/highway with random redline antics.

I'm getting an extra 25-30 miles per tank now, and my bike feels more responsive like it used to. If your bike came with an O2 sensor, your ECU wants to see it there or your mileage will suffer.

Wouldn't a power commander have been a better investment?

To gain gas mileage back per the last person who posted on this said [and that was years ago]? No, no it would not.

Thought i'd put an update in here just to fill this out some.

Been running with the 330ohm resistor most of the year, my tank range has been about 140ish, also running a power commander with more or less the basic tune.

I've also been running premium gas, the bike pings some during roll on acceleration in the mid revs so i was trying to eliminate that somewhat.

Switched to regular gas for the last two tanks, and this 2nd tank has just hit reserve at 120 miles, it also pings more easily with regular gas.

Switched to a zero map last night and it doesn't really ping anymore, but i'm curious as to why the tank range suddenly, tanked...

I'll refill with regular tonight and see what the next tank does.
