That stupid O2 sensor on F4i's

Despite the funny face, the dang engine spins up faster. I am sure of it. It spins up much much faster.
I think the O2 sensor is simply to comply with government emissions issues as no other CBR has the O2 except the 2006 model.
And dam, if I had known about the radio shack fix I woulda saved $27. And someone on here told me to get my exhaust right from DanMoto's website instead of eBay which would have saved me $20 more dollars... Damm
At least the expensive O2 deleter is just a 'click into place' and forget it kinda thing....

ok, here is the follow up I promised.
So I couldn't wait for the stupid $30 ebay O2 deleter, so I followed that link (thanks) and ran to home depot and bought the $1.00 330 Ohm restrictors.. and that baby did the trick just fine.
So painless. Killed the Fi fuel injection light BAM.
Then I got the "cheap" Danmoto chinese exhaust (I will put these pics in the Danmoto thread as well) and aside from scraping off the hear tape from Honda on the end of the headers the installation was painless.
I mean there was that one part where we had to finagle the exhaust clockwise and counter clockwise until it was clear of the swingarm (this seems to be the only design flaw as you need to have the clamp at an unnatural angle for all this to work) But it was pretty painless.
The quality was ok.. the tip has that cheap sheet metal feel, but it sounds really nice, pretty tame at idle and a nice roar when revving.
Here are the pics, and that concludes the stupid O2 fiasco.

Btw do any of you guys even have a bike with the O2 sensor and then you removed it and can actually say from fact how the RPM needle acts.?
The bike is faster. Period

Ok, Moses, how is your gas milage..
Riding for the past 4 months without the O2 sensor has given me 20 less miles per tank...
did your "welding a nut to the midpipe" keep your milage at about 150 per tank??
I think I have to add the O2 sensor on again.. I ride too much to fill up after every 120 miles..
