Strange squealing?
Hey guys, I tried to search, but couldn't find an answer. Picked up an 02 F4i with 15k on the clock. I noticed while riding, there is a squeal that I can hear. It's like a high pitched squeal that happens if I speed up, or ride over bumps. Usually starts around 20mph. I thought it may be the forks squeaking, so I took it into the garage and started rocking it back and forth while holding the front brake lever and there was no noise . It happens more often if I give it a little more gas than normal. I know I've got the CCT issue, which is on order. Could that be causing it? I can't recreate the sound at all unless I'm riding. I've turned the handles back and forth, rocked the whole bike and can't make the noise. PO recently put on a brand new tire, if the chain was too tight, could it cause that (or too loose?)??
