stock exhaust, any way to make louder?
Is there any way to make a stock exhaust louder, w/o buying a pipe? Will taking out the baffle in the center of the muffler make a difference/be possible to do? I want to make my bike a little louder w/out spending 4-500 for a pipe, thanks!
P.S. I like your pipe bootleg, any word on the shortys progress?

as the *unofficial* spokesman for bootleg pipes...haha..........the shortys are done...and for $200 you are getting a great sounding and looking pipe....seeing as he has a lot of interest...send him a PM and wait for a response....it will look nicer and sound better than drilling out the stock and will cost you less than half of an equal quality exhaust...
just my opinion....if you are really that anxious in waiting for the pipe.....you can drill out the baffle and that should increase the sound a bit...i haven't done it, but have read a lot about people doing it....the sound is louder but not necessarily a nice sound....

A trick I heard of to rev it up alot and get it hot then use a hose and get the inside wet and it destroys packing inside which makes it louder. I DO NOT ENDORSE THIS METHOD AS I WOULD NEVER TRY IT ON MY BIKE. However this is just what I was told.
