I have a08 and i want to make the stock exhaust louder untill i can afford a new exhaust system..Is there any way of gutting it or drilling it out?

start the bike....hold it at the rev limiter until the exhaust turns cherry red, then shove a hose down it and let the water flow! I wouldn't do it to my bike, but its worth a try!

If you drill it, you'll lose power. Better off just saving up and waiting. Thats what I'm doing.

 

i have a custom exhaust that has 2 tips on it with no muffler. it looks sick on the bike and is loud. i dont actually have pics of it on my bike because my camera broke and now have the yoshi pipe. will sell it for 100 bux. if you are in nj you can stop by and take a look at it.

Because he doesn't care how it affects other people and all the cool kids do it. It's his way of promoting better biker-people relationships.

 

just take off the whole exhaust system it will be really loud then.

 

If you drill or gut it will be louder, but sound like crap.

 

the reason i want it to be louder is cause when im just crusin in 6th you can barely hear it and i want people in cars to be able to here me better..so people drivein next to me will know that im there..I dont want it crazy loud..just a little bit louder..I'll just wait and get exhaust when i get the money
