Default steering damper question

well god bless student loans, it looks like i'm gonna have some money to put into my bike. aside from some things that need to be replaced, i'm thinking about some rear sets and a steering damper. I've noticed two different kinds though, a scott's style one, and a harris style one. who out there has experience with either kind and has some stories to tell? what are the pros/cons of each one? my GSXR750 had a stock damper like the harris style and i liked the stability it had but i can't really say i know what a nice damper is like. also, i was hoping to get somethign that will be transferable to another bike because i'm trying to sell my f4i next spring to get an R1.

Default RE: steering damper question

Im about to get the GPR....from what ive heard from my friends who have them, they are really worth it. When I was doing some price comparrison they are def the cheapest over the Harris style. And I am pretty sure that the GPR will work on most bikes too.
