steering damper question
Hello riders,
I'm new here so be nice!
I am wanting to put a steering damper on, and would like one that mounts to the steering head of the bike with a weld on bracket, close to the bracket that holds the instrument cluster assembly on.. Long story why., but are there any I can either buy like this, or modify some close adaptation. I have full use to a fabrication shop, but need to know a unit to start with.
Thanks so much, I want to ride this bike this summer!. It was an ebay special I bought a few years ago.

Scott's dampers are regarded as the best, top mounted units. They don't make one for the F3's, and I'm not even really sure if you could attach a mounting bracket to one, given the room between the head and the tank. The damper uses the center triple clamp nut, and a pretty heavy bracket that attaches to the frame to mount the damper itself.. I'd just look at the shock type ones that mount under the rt fairing and call it a day
