It would have been great if honda had've gotten with the program and had spool holes on the swingarms. They however didn't. Putting rods through your axle, or using the axle rod is ineffective because you can't work on the rear wheel with them. Considering this is the thing most people who invest instands need to do, that mod is pointless. Just get a universal. I have used one for quite some time. They work quite well!

spool um.
They are cheap. Easy and convenient . Plus when you lay your bike. they double as swing arm sliders. when the last owner laid my bike. There were some scratches on the swing arm that could have been easily avoided with spools.
