Default Speedometer Issues

Hey Guys,

I hate posting a question as my first post but here goes.

Just got my bike today and for some reason the speedometer stops at 180 km/h. The revs conitinue to climb and im sure the bike is going faster.

I did look around first but no answers.

Anyone have this issue or have some insights into solving it?

You might need to reset your reading for "mph".

Would make sense but he said it still accelerates when it gets there which I highly doubt he would be accelerating at 180mph.

Just confirmed it...the bike definatly keeps moving measured a distance and then drove at top speed (rev counter on the the red line in 6th gear) and timed it. Average speed was well over 180 km/h. Ive recently learned that some bikes where limited but by changing the cdi and cluster you can over ride the limit.

Maybe the cdi was changed but not the cluster......
