Use 2 extensions for your ratchet(small) with a 10mm socket I believe it is.
My thinking is that if Im going to take it out I may as well drop in a new one.

My sensor is not new- it's a used one in working condition.

Should take you less than 30 min to diagnose/replace old one.

Oh ok. I wont worry about it then.

My time is very precious so I was going to have Honda do it but they quoted me $170 labor and that aint gonna happen

Yep, $170 is a stick up. My bikes have never been to the dealership because I'd be broke by now if they were to get ahold of one.

alright, so now after letting the speedometer ride on 0 for a week or so with the FI light on,(haven't had time to brush it off) all of the sudden the odometer stopped working too. My question is, where is the speed sensor?? i tried to look around the rear wheel spring and don't see any electric wires. Does anybody have a picture of this or can give me a good tip on how to locate it?

look on the tranny(under rear shock) - it's a 2 bolt black plastic piece with 3 wires(green, pink, black).
