SPEED SENSOR LOCATION?
This is not for an 05 F4i but this is the text directly out of the 02 F4i manual.
Dont know if it will give you any help but its worth a shot.
The speed sensor is mounted on the crankcase behind the cylinders on the left hand side. Depending on the tools you have available, the size of your hands and your general dexterity, you might be able to access the sensor from the left-hand side of the engine after removing the fairing side panel. Trace the wiring from the sensor and disconnect it at the 3-pin connector. Unscrew the sensor mounting bolts and remove the sensor. Remove and discard its O-ring as a new one must be used. Plug the sensor orifice with a clean rag to prevent anything falling into the engine.
Thats about all I have for you. If it helps, then your welcome. If not then sorry.

Daniel, I appreciate the input, now gettting to the darn thing is the hard part? I'm staring at the sensor but just cant get to it? Does the manual recommend a special tool? At this point, I have the gas tank off and still cant get to it[:@]
It says you will have to remove the Carbs/Throttle body and get at it from the top. So basically removing everything from the top to the sensor until you can get to it.
Sounds pretty crappy to do. If I were there I could probably get it for ya cause im a pretty small guy but doesnt look like thats going to happen anytime soon. Sorry bro. Good luck. If you need any other information, just ask.

It can be done by taking the tank off and not the throttle bodies. Its still fiddly to get at but much less of a pain than draining the coolant to take the throtlle bodies off the head to get access to a push fit sensor. You'll need some long reach pliers, a decent took kit and some patience. [8D]
