hello to all ,i am new in forum. my name is Panos and i am from Greece.

i recently bought a cbr600f4i 2001 model the sport version.
from the zero point,the speedometer wouldnt work. i read all the issues with the speed sensor on threads here.
i changed my sensor with a used one,but it didnt work.
i took it to honda main facilities to test it ,as the Fi light was on all the time.
they told me that it was the speed sensor malfunction and no other problem really existed.

as a new one is above 160 euros, i search for a really good used one. any sites u suggest??

one more question. does a speed sensor from a 900rr or 954rr or a 1100xx match with my f4i? beacuase i have one from a 1100xx and i can get one from 900rr and 954rr cheap.

I got a good working used one from ebay for $25, harder to find international shipper but possible.
Also junk yards..if there are any around.
Craigslist in greece? I dunno!

 

thank you very much my friend but today i got another used ,i put it into bike and worked !!!! seems like the 1st used sensor was broken too.

 

Happens sometime, lol. Yay!, for the second one working.
Problems should all be so easy. ;-)

Glad you resolved it. for future reference, the RVT1000 RC51 model also uses the same sensor.
