Default Speed Sensor

Hey

I bought a speedhealer. Does anyone have any knowledge of how I can easily find the speed sensor? I looked at the tutorial the speedhealer website had...but I still can't find that wire at all. Is there a starting portion of the wire I can follow til I find that connection.

I spent 2 hours yesterday tryingt find it. I had the tank propped up but no where in site did I see this 3 wire connector.

I'm befumbled. cause the install is sooooo easy....but i just can't finish step one.

The VSS is right in front of the rear wheel sitting on the tranny. It's a black plastic thing with 2 bolts. The two wires are pink and green.

just sayin..speedohealers directions said a 3 wire, pink/green\black wire. I hope ur right and their wrong cause that would insane that the company that actually produces the product sent me ona wild goose chase for a 3 wire plug that doesn't exist.

Do you know what color the wires are?

It's a 3 pin plug, there are black, pink and green wires.

The 1st pic gives you an idea of where the 2nd pic is taken from, I am touching the speed sensor in the second pic - In the 3rd image, the black wire is to the left of the pink one, there are indeed 3 wires.

I did a write up if you want a closer look at getting to it.
